On the set at Elstree Studio’s!
Over a course of five days last week three of our graduates assisted celebrity make-up artist Kevin Fortune on the set of Fake Reaction the comedy game show. They helped with the make-up during the recording for the next series for Channel 4 at the famous Elstree Studio’s. It was here that such iconic films were made such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones plus TV programs Big Brother and Dancing on Ice.
New Bridal Course!
After receiving many requests for a course concentrating purely on bridal make-up the London School of Make-up has designed an intensive 2 day course in this subject followed on by 3 days in dressing hair for the bride.
Both parts can be taken together over 5 days or split into two parts and taken when convenient. You can also chose to take just one of the skills if that is all that interests you.

New Photographic Studio
We are excited to announce the forth coming opening of our own photo studio on the schools premises this November. It will have a fully fitted studio with lights and back drops making us one of the first to offer students and graduates this unique facility.
Another successful Photo Shoot
All of our students attending the latest Creative and Media Make-up courses had the opportunity to start their portfolio off with a day in the studio each working on a professional model from a London agency and photographed by celebrity photographer Joel Anderson.
Bridal Make up Classes
There are many forms of make-up for brides depending on ethnic culture and regional differences throughout the world. In some cultures the make-up is very strong with heavy emphasis on the eyes such as an Asian bride associated with a Hindu wedding or on the lips when it comes to a traditional Japanese bride.

Hot off the Press!
London School of Make-up proudly paid host this week to celebrity international make-up artists Lee Pycroft and Sarah Rygate for the launch of their future master classes in the art of make-up artistry. Some of the top beauty editors of this country came along to the school and during a fizz of bubbly and cake marvelled at these two artists wisdom while witnessing the latest trends and tips as demonstrated by the girls on their models.
IMA Diploma in Dressing Hair
We are pleased to announce that we are now offering our 5 Day IMA Diploma in Dressing Hair Course as a separate module for those who would like to add this extra skill to their make-up portfolio. The next available date is 21 October 13.
IMA Foundation Class
We have just completed our two week full-time foundation certificate course and we are pleased to announce that 100% of the students passed the IMA (International Make-up Association) practical test for a day make-up look. While 90% passed the evening make-up look along with the theory paper.
